Creating a subclass of an object

To create a subclass of an object, you must select the parent object, and click on “New Subclass” if the object doesn’t already have a “Subclass” folder.

After completing all the information needed for the object, set the “Template” to “child object”. From the properties tab, select the property that should point to the parent of the collection and set the kind to “Parent” and select the object in the type field, if this hasn’t been done.

After saving the object, we must inform the Parent Object of his new child, so we must go to the Parent Object and create a new property, by right clicking on the object and selecting “New simple property”. Set the property kind to “Collection” and point to the child object in the “Type” field.
